just dance

This has been a slow, sleepy few days. We've been having fun and keeping busy, but I've been feeling sort of uninspired—I just don't have much to say. Well, that's not true—I always have something to say—but I haven't been writing it down. Bad Hanner.

Anyway, my friend Sylvia sometimes jokes before she teaches at church that she would like to teach her lesson through interpretive dance. So since I am feeling uninspired, I will blog my update tonight through interpretive dance, because I cannot help but notice that the last few pictures of me that have been tagged on Facebook are ones where I am dancing sweatily at other people's weddings:

wedding2

Don't ask me about that second one. Okay, I'll tell you—Sara and I just have really great chemistry.

Anyway, I did not marry a dancer. But that doesn't mean that I can't guilt Robbie into dancing with me at weddings. I always plead with him and say "But we nevvvverrrrr goooo danciiiiing!" and he groans and satisfies my need to dance with a bit of the white boy shuffle. And he has a good time. (I think.) I need more friends to get married so I can dance in public without abandon.

In other news, I let some Christmas music play on my shuffle yesterday without skipping it. There, I said it.

It just shouldn't have been that complicated

Riddle me this: how many people does it take to book Arcade Fire concert tickets?

Apparently three, because me, Veronica, and her husband (me in DC, them in Kentucky) were all reloading our browsers like crazy and only Kyle came out the victor, 25 minutes after tickets went on sale.

So. 8/6. Me + Veron + Arcade Fire, while our husbands are hiking the AT. It's on, after four years of waiting and bad timing. I'm soooooo excited! And I just can't hide it.

Cannonball

Play this while you watch my jump. Or about 30 seconds into this.

Perfect form

I'd better lay off the Killing Curses

Sometimes I make faces at Robbie from across the room to try and make him laugh. Tonight he told me that I overdid it. "You looked a little like Voldemort just now," he said.

You win some, you lose some.

Fool me twice, shame on me

UGH--shame on me is right.

Check out the Boston Marathon's "new" qualifying times here.

And then go here.

A good joke. Subtle enough for me to fall for it. I feel dumb for getting so worked up about that, haha. I just really want Robbie to qualify!

Fool me once, shame on you

But seriously? Hosting naked yoga on April Fool's Day? Not a joke?

I don't even want to think about the kind of traffic that's going to come here because of people searching "naked yoga."
