Robbie accused me of slacking off on my blogging. Ahh! I promise we've been busy doing fun stuff, and non-fun stuff. Last weekend we went to Annapolis and met up with our friends Derek and Linda for a little stroll around the 'hood, enjoying the weather, the eats, and the Naval Academy. It would be nice if we could all go to a college with a campus as beautiful as the Academy's. Bonus if it looks over the Chesapeake. Sigh. Linda lived in Annapolis for a while with her family (she is originally from Germany), so she showed us the ropes and told us a lot of fun facts about plebes and life in the Academy. One thing I learned on this trip--the torn American flag (3rd pic down) is from the battleship that saw the most action in WWII, including the battle of Kwajalein. Tada! So much to learn from the Navy.
I love the East because it's so easy to get out of town for a few hours and see so many things. We're going to Philly next month to squish baby Julian's cheeks, and hopefully head to NYC soon for a shopping day.
(PS: Jenn, I promise next time we go to Annapolis it will be to see your new house!!!)
We have a friend named Derek who lives in Annapolis, too! That's crazy.
