I just found out that the girl previously in my position at work is a BYU grad, LDS, and doing her MA in American Studies at GW. And even weirder is that her initials are also HH. It explains why people keep calling me Heather, at least.
never met her! one of the phd students told me about her. in fact, the student was like "she came from california!" i was like "i'm from california too!" and the student was like "NO! are you mormon? she was also mormon." i blew her mind when i told her that i was indeed mormon. i guess you had to be there but the student was really incredulous and she and another student were just giggling about it and marveling in chinese.
naomi, i was JUST about to say that! my vote: either the universe will explode, or a kitten will die, or something. i'm pretty sure i saw a movie about this once in a hospital waiting room or something.
